Okebourne Open Space
Okebourne open space is a huge area that links with Charlton common. The space offers a variety of fields and a playground. There is a tarmac path that runs all the way along Okebourne to Charlton common. This makes it easily accessible by all. However, there is a steady hill to climb as soon as you enter the open space.
The playground is small and a mixture of wooden equipment. There is a climbing frame, slide and swing. The fields outside the playground are a great space for anything from frisbee to cricket. There is plenty of space for any activity.
There are a couple bins in the open space, one being inside the playground and there is one bench in the open space, so if you fancy taking a picnic or sitting in the park take a blanket to sit on the floor.
There is very limited street parking in the residential area. There are no toilets here.
