Drop-in SEND Support
Next dates
Our Community Base is a friendly, relaxed space where you can take a breather, meet other parent carers and chat with our Community Support Team. Here at SGPC, we’re all parent carers ourselves, so we genuinely understand both the challenges and the joys of raising a child with SEND.
Whether you need support, information, or just someone to talk to, we’re here for you.
Pop in and you’ll find:
- Helpful tips, ideas, and strategies to feel more confident in supporting your child’s needs
- Signposting to local services that could benefit your family
- A listening ear over a cuppa
- To support your wellbeing, we also offer relaxing activities like gardening, crafts, and mindfulness sessions.
- You are welcome to bring your child/children with you
- We’ve got toys, books, games, a secure outdoor play area and a sensory room (available in the mornings) with lights, sounds, textures, and a hoist.
Just a reminder: children must be supervised at all times.
Tuesdays and Thursdays (term time)
10:00 – 12:00
There’s no need to book – just drop in!
The sessions are free, though donations towards refreshments are always appreciated.
