This September, a spectacular host of hot air balloons will again take to the skies over the Longleat Estate in our very own hot air balloon festival.
Led by our very own lion shaped balloon , this is a balloon fest with a unique Longleat twist – with our famous safari favourites taking to the skies. Special animal shapes you’ll see reimagined as hot air balloons include a koala, cheetah, wolf, parrot and owl.
You’ll get breath-taking views (and photos) during our mass launches and tethered displays. Followed in the evenings by a stunning night glow with a selection of our favourite balloons which fire their burners up to an amazing soundtrack – a sight not to be missed!

DAILY SCHEDULE:

• 7am - Morning mass launch
• 10 am - Tethered hot air balloon displays
• 2.30pm - Tethered hot air balloon displays
• 5pm - Early evening mass launch
• 8pm - Night Glow
Plus enjoy a full day of Longleat’s animal and adventure attractions, all included in your Day Tickets.
Please be aware that ballooning is incredibly weather dependent, and we may have to adjust the timing of our launches to allow for the weather. In adverse conditions some launches and displays may have to be postponed or cancelled.
