These pre-school age child + adult sessions from Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project are a joyful mix of discovering the natural world through age-appropriate seasonal activities & getting closer to nature with your child, in the mature Downs woodland & wildflower meadow.

Each week we follow an immersive seasonal theme in our activities, enjoy a craft or creativity spot & finish with a warm/cold drink & biscuit as we listen to a story. Our themes this late autumn term include: nocturnal nature; getting ready for winter; autumn minibeasts; Christmas – to name a few!

Suitable for pre-school age children 2-4 years with an adult. Younger children are welcome for free but your pre-schooler will need you to enjoy the session with them, engaging in the activities alongside them at all times.

Toilets are available before (& after) the session at Bristol Zoo Gardens & a covered space is used in case of inclement weather
