We are the team behind Weston Super Sonic - The unofficial Sonic the Hedgehog convention that has traditionally been based in Weston Super Mare. We've been hosting events since 2014, with our last event wrapping up at the start of 2022. It started in a single room in a church community hall, before rapidly growing to become a guns-blazing Sonic celebration held on Weston's Grand Pier, the largest venue at out disposal. Thanks to the support of our community, we enjoyed hosting at there for a number of years, but we came to realise we wanted to sink our teeth into something bigger. Something... More.
We want to grow with our community, which is why Weston-super-Mare sadly just isn't up to hosting an event to the scale we've been dreaming of for years. We needed something more able to manage the sort of numbers we wanted to be able to bring in, and has forced us into looking further afield for a larger space...

Enter Sonic Fan Fest (or SFF for short) - Our newest venture intended to bring the event known and enjoyed by fans to even more people in even easier to reach locations.

Sonic Fan Fest's goals all revolve around one theme: Community.
We're gunning for Sonic Fan Fest to be a massive celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog's unbeatable community. To bring fans of the franchise and industry professionals together to celebrate and collaborate! Want to get into Sonic art? Sonic music? Who better to ask than the very ones who have worked tirelessly in the past and present to bring official and loved Sonic fan media to our screens and comics.
Whether you make leave having made connections, lifelong friendships or just great memories, our ambition for Sonic Fan Fest is to always be a safe and fun place to express and show off your love for the Sonic series.
